Swiss Biotech Center’s vision is for Switzerland and especially for the Canton of Valais to be a leader in the development, delivery and commercialization of pharmaceutical products requiring advanced biomanufacturing capabilities.

Our services dedicated to Biopharmaceuticals aims at accelerating the development of innovative products towards clinical development in line with regulatory standards and in a cost effective manner, crystalizing entrepreneurs ideas into products.

Massimo Nobile

Swiss Biotech Center’s CEO since its creation in 2015 Massimo trained at the University of Lausanne, where he obtained his PhD in biology. His focus on Life Sciences initiatives and he is committed to enhancing and developing this sector.

Ana Keser

After studying biotechnology at the Haute Ecole d’Ingénierie, Ana worked as a production and quality assurance technician for various companies. As of March 2017, the Swiss Biotech Center has been able to rely on her expertise to produce recombinant proteins.

Muriel Sottas

Muriel trained at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne where she obtained a master’s degree in Life Sciences and Technologies. As of January 2017, she has held the position of Scientific Officer at Swiss Biotech Center. Her area of expertise is protein purification.

Cécile Mutel

Cécile began her professional career at the Geneva University Hospital (HUG), where she obtained her CFC as a laboratory biologist. From 2014 to 2018, she worked at Future Health BioBank as a senior laboratory technician before joining Swiss Biotech Center.

Adolfo Gonzalez

With a diploma in biomedical analysis technician, obtained in Geneva, a Bachelor’s degree in life sciences from the HES-SO Valais/Wallis and a Master’s degree in life sciences, with a focus on Bioprocess & Bioconversion, Adolfo held a research assistant position at the HES-SO Valais/Wallis, before joining the Swiss Biotech Center as Scientific Officer in 2019.

Frédérique Brunner

After starting out in Chemical Purchasing in Geneva, Frédérique switched to Communication in 2013. Dynamic and versatile, she has enriched her career by working in several sectors of activity (tourism, health, energy). Today, it is committed to promoting the life sciences.

Claude Ammann

Claude is the Director of Claude Ammann Consulting, advising pharmaceutical and biotech companies to enhance their quality capabilities.

Claude built his +30 years industrial experience at Zyma and Ciba-Geigy, both now part of the Novartis group.

He later became Site Manager and QA Director in different small companies.

In 2009 he started his own business to assist pharmaceutical and biotech companies that wish to enhance their quality capabilities. He is a Responsible Person as qualified by Swissmedic.

Claude Ammann

Managing Director at Claude Ammann Consulting

Aline started with a preparatory internship at the Jules-Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital in Lausanne in microbiology, molecular biology, cell culture, immunology and histology. She continued with a Bachelor’s degree in life technology with biotechnology as an option. Since September 2019, she has held the position of Junior Scientific Officer at the Swiss Biotech Center.

Catherine Tivollier

Catherine Tivollier has been evolving for more than 25 years in the environment of the European pharmaceutical, medical device and cosmetic industries. She gained her expertise in various positions including head of quality assurance and site director. Catherine Tivollier also managed quality assurance for the launch of a range of 30 generic drugs. She has a solid experience of trainer and auditor in an industrial environment. In 2011, she joined the development of TPH Partner. In 2016, she transfers it to Switzerland and directs all activities.

Following a training in communication and business in New York, Morgane obtained her master’s degree in journalism and digital communication at the University of Geneva. She started with a first experience in the communication department of the Valais Hospital. She is now involved in highlighting the life sciences.
